Flury - Bill of Materials preview is faulty compared to export
The issue with the Flury bill of materials preview has been resolved. The preview view in the RED CAD APP Flury was faulty compared to the export to Excel or CSV files.
Too many characters in the symbol name lead to faulty DWG/DXF export
Very long symbol names could cause problems with DXF/DWG export. This bug has now been fixed, and exporting now works correctly even with long symbol names.
Angle tooltip for pitched roof pipes fixed
The angle tooltip for pitched roof pipes was no longer functioning correctly. This error has now been fixed. In RED CAD Flury, the roof angle can be added to pitched roof pipes. When the user hovers the mouse cursor over the drawn pipe, the angle tooltip appears and displays the saved roof angle in a box.
In the Home Edition – Make the Print Icon Transparent
When working with the Home Edition license (contract license without export function), the print icon was displayed as active. The display of the print icon has been corrected. The print icon is now displayed transparently.
When the RED CAD APP was running, files outside of RED CAD could not be opened with a double-click.
The issue where files could no longer be opened with a double-click in Windows Explorer has been resolved. This problem occurred in RED CAD APP version 3.13.8.0 and only when the RED CAD APP was already open.
Text fields in the properties view for "Small Title Block" swapped
The properties of the "Small Title Block" template in the "Annotate" tab were swapped. This issue has been corrected. The view has also been corrected.
Polish translation added
The RED CAD APP is now also available in Polish with version 3.13.9.0.
Check for updates – installation aids improved
The "Check for updates" function, located in the "Online" tab, allows you to download the update version within the application. The instructions displayed during the installation process have been clarified.
Automatic Error Correction When Opening Files (Duplicate Referenced Symbols)
A new check function has been added to the RED CAD APP that runs automatically in the background when opening RED CAD files (.rcp, .rcs, and .rcc). This function analyzes and searches for duplicate symbols in the source code and removes them. Symbols (with the same ID) that are referenced twice in the source code can render the file unusable.
Plan Legend Contains Mirrored and Rotated Symbols
The issue of rotated and mirrored symbols appearing in the plan legend has been resolved.
DWG/DXF Export Issues with Custom Symbols
The problem where custom symbols appear mirrored in the exported DWG/DXF file has been fixed.

Label elements did not mirror the integrated text correctly
If a legend, equipment position, or other label field was mirrored, the text was not mirrored correctly and was therefore illegible. This issue has been resolved.
Italian translation added
The Italian language of the RED CAD APP program has been optimized in version 3.13.9.0.
Scaled and rotated symbols cannot be labelled correctly
For some symbols, the labels inserted into the text labels (label fields) were displayed rotated or mirrored. This error was also visible with the static text of predefined symbols from the toolboxes.
This error no longer occurs due to the optimization of the text label function.
SIA/DAT export fails if the file directory has been deleted or moved
This error occurred extremely rarely. When the data export file (SIA451/DAT) is generated for a project, the file is normally saved in a directory. (The directory path is stored in the RED CAD file.) If the directory was moved or deleted after the export, a new export could not be performed.
The saving process has been reprogrammed so that the error can no longer occur.
Improved DWG/DXF Library
The DWG/DXF library, responsible for importing DWG/DXF files, has been updated. This update has resolved potential issues with DWG/DXF plans. For example, color values were not being read correctly during import.
Symbol Scaling Caused a Crash
In some very specific cases, scaling symbols caused the application to crash. This issue has been fixed.
General Zoom In and Zoom Out Improvements
Zoom in and zoom out using the mouse wheel was not always smooth, depending on the plan, and was a recurring complaint from customers. This functionality has been improved.
Multiple Typos
Several typos in the application have been corrected.
Printing a Plan from Project Management Without a Filename
If a plan was created in Project Management without a filename, printing could not be performed, and an error message was generated. The problem has been resolved, and plans can now be printed without a filename.
Dimension chain caused crash
In certain cases, the application crashed when using the dimension chain. This issue has been fixed.
Empty BKP Layers (Increments) Could Not Be Named in One Case
In a single instance, a layer was created without a number. In the source code, the BKP value was defined as "Zero" (Zero = Nothing). If such a layer existed, export problems occurred.
This issue has been resolved, and therefore, layers with the value "Zero" can no longer be created.
The Program Crashed When Opening Files Outside of RED CAD APP
When a file was opened outside of RED CAD APP, the application would crash. To work around this, the file had to be opened within the program using the "Open" function. This bug has been fixed, and files can now be opened outside of the application again.
Text Behaves Incorrectly with Terminals
The static text of the symbols was displayed incorrectly when the symbol was copied. The text orientation was mirrored in the copied symbol. This problem has been resolved by optimizing and correcting the symbols.
Project Management – Pressing the Enter key caused the program to crash
When a saved project was opened and the Enter key was pressed in the installation plan/circuit diagram selection, the RED CAD app crashed completely. This bug has been fixed.
Missing Steiger and VSEI Symbols
Missing symbols have been added.
Bill of Materials Entries Without Values Prevented Bill of Materials Generation
Elements that were drawn, such as concealed wiring, pipes, ducts, etc., sometimes had the value "NaN" (NaN = no value) in their length specification. This value prevented the bill of materials from being generated. This problem has been fixed.
Font Size Was Not Applied to Default Setting
The font size defined in the "Annotate" tab was not applied as the default value when a text box was placed. This problem has been fixed.
Copying circuit diagrams in project management is not working correctly
Circuit diagrams copied in project management were incorrectly created in the drawing repository instead of the schematic repository. This error has been fixed, and the circuit diagrams are now copied correctly.
Steiger symbols cannot be placed using the BKP search function in the RED CAD app
When placing these symbols, the error message "Plan version does not match symbol version" was generated. The cause was that the symbols placed in the plan using the position number search were always using Steiger version 2015. The plan version is now used.
Swisslux ceiling detector radii are calculated incorrectly
The radii of the ceiling detectors were calculated incorrectly, resulting in an incorrect displayed detection range for the symbols. The calculation has been reimplemented in the RED CAD app.
Missing BKP numbers have been added
Some Steiger symbols were missing their BKP numbers. The missing BKP numbers have been added and are therefore visible in the parts list.
Züblin AG Toolbox
The presence and motion detectors from Züblin AG have been implemented in the RED CAD APP, and a new toolbox has been created. The toolbox contains detailed information about the symbols, such as product descriptions, direct links to the products, and much more. For each symbol, the different radii (tangential, radial, and presence) can be displayed.
VSEI 2016
The new NPK data for 2016 has been implemented. Image search has been updated with new symbols.
STEIGER 2016
The new Steiger data for 2016 has been implemented. This allows customers who own the Steiger 16 electronic handbook to plan projects. Symbols have been updated.

Movement of Copied Symbols
Copyed symbols could sometimes no longer be moved or were not displayed at all. This bug has been fixed. This bug did not affect all customers.
Incorrect Labeling for Radial and Tangential Detection Areas
The function for displaying the detection area (radial and tangential) has been optimized, and the presence function has been added.
Corrupt Languages Cause Saving and Printing Errors
RED CAD files containing a language error in the source code could no longer be saved or printed during a revision. The symbol metadata was corrupted: “rs:LanguageDependentSymbolMetadata” and the key had a value of “null”. This problem has been fixed.
Swisslux – Mounting Height Radius Changes Incorrectly
The installation height of Swisslux PIR detectors was calculated too inaccurately. The calculation has been reprogrammed, and the detection area (display radius) now adjusts correctly. Mounting height can be individually adjusted for each symbol via its properties.
Area breakdown causes errors with German and Austrian system languages
The bug that prevented selection options when creating an area breakdown with Windows system languages German (Germany) and Austrian (AT) has been fixed.
Dimension Chain – Double-Click – Application Crashes
The dimension chain caused the RED CAD app to crash when double-clicked. This bug has been fixed.
EDS/LB-HT – CSV Export Faulty
The export function for the EDS/LB-HT parts list has been corrected and fixed.
Folder Setting Font Size 0 Causes App Crash
In the plan settings, the font size “0” caused the RED CAD app to crash. This bug has been fixed.
Rotating and Subsequently Copying a Symbol Mirrors Text
When rotated symbols were copied, the label of the mirrored symbol was displayed in a distorted state. This bug has been fixed.
Prevent Flipping in the Scenario Manager – Layers Not Automatically Expanding
The automatic expansion of the layer structure can be disabled via the program settings. When this function is enabled, the layer structure will no longer expand automatically when a symbol is clicked. You can deactivate or activate this function using the following steps:
New Innoxel Component
The new component “Innoxel Master 3” has been added to the Innoxel toolbox in the schematic/circuit diagram view.
Translation Added
Program translation has been implemented for French, Italian, and Polish.
Legrand Toolbox
Legrand MyHome products have been added. MyHome products can now be used in the schematic/circuit diagram view.
Unlock All Features with Demo License
Requesting demo licenses has been simplified. In previous versions, users could test various tools from the RED CAD APP. Now, users can select either Electrical or Heating/Plumbing. The demo license then includes all features of a full license.
The process for requesting a demo license is the same as in previous versions.
Project Management – Redefining Project Saving
Project file saving has been redefined. Projects can now only be saved in the Project Management tab. Individual open plans can no longer be saved separately. As soon as you click on the floppy disk icon in the project management, the entire project, including all plans, is saved. This has the advantage that no files are lost.
DWG/DXF Library Update
The DWG/DXF Library, responsible for importing DWG/DXF files, has been updated. This update has resolved several issues with DWG/DXF plans, such as DWGs that caused floating-point values during import.
Feller Toolbox
The EDIZIOdue and STANDARDdue products from Feller have been implemented in the RED CAD app. The symbols can be found under the App tab.
The Feller AG product range is so extensive that the conventional symbols were insufficient for clearly defining Feller products. We decided to adopt a new approach to product representation. The visual identification of a symbol on the plan must ensure product recognition.
