Steiger Module – New Steiger 2020 Data Integrated
The new Steiger 2020 data has been integrated into RED CAD. The new data is available from version 3.15.3.0 onwards. (To use the new Steiger 2020 data, you must request the new “Steiger 2020” module from RED CAD Solutions AG and have purchased the Steiger AG Electronic Book 2020).
Fire Protection Bug Fix
When saving (or autosave) the plan, the fire protection symbols were locked. This meant the symbols were fixed and could no longer be selected, moved, or deleted. This bug has been fixed.
Adjusted printing of unnamed diagrams
Printing could not be performed if the generated document had no filename. This bug has been fixed.
Disallowed characters (e.g., \ or /) are replaced during printing
If a disallowed character was used in the filename, printing could not be performed. This bug has been fixed.
Correction in DWG export for line start and end points
The unfilled circle for line start and end points was exported incorrectly. In the DXF/DWG file, the circle was displayed as filled. This issue has been resolved.
Re-downloading of the NPK toolbox when exporting SIA451
During an SIA451 export, the NPK toolbox was downloaded again and saved in the wrong directory. This was because the function was looking for the toolbox in the wrong directory. This issue has been resolved.
New license attribute – Fire protection
A new license attribute has been created. Starting with version 3.15.2.0, the RED CAD APP can now be obtained as a dedicated fire protection CAD application.
DWG/DXF Interface Updated
The DWG/DXF interface has been updated and now supports the DWG/DXF version of AutoCAD 2018 (AC1032).
Import Wizard - Snapping When Importing DWG/DXF Files
When importing DWG/DXF files, the mouse now recognizes specific points and snaps to them. This snapping feature enables precise point-by-point import.
Import Wizard - New Method for Survey Arrow
In addition to the familiar "Click + Drag" method, you can now use the "Click + Click" method to survey plans.
Import Wizard - Scale Displayed Newly
Based on the survey arrow and the entered length, the scale is now calculated and displayed to the user below the input field (e.g., "Scale 1:100").
Import Assistant - Survey Arrow Corrected
The survey arrow is now displayed in red, and the length is now calculated from the arrowhead.
Import Assistant - Problem with Black Areas on DWG/DXF Plans Fixed
The color white is now correctly recognized and no longer displayed as black. Various color codes can be set in DWG/DXF files. Some of these were being misinterpreted, resulting in the black areas.
Import Assistant - New keyboard shortcut for "Fill screen"
The plan can now be filled with the screen by double-clicking the mouse wheel.
Loxone Symbols Updated
The Loxone toolbox for schematics/circuit diagrams has been updated.
Page labels enabled in schematics without title blocks
When creating a schematic/circuit diagram document without a title block, page labels can now be added via the Scenario Manager. Double-clicking next to the page number opens a text field for entering the page label.
Page numbering correction in schematics
With custom page numbering, the highest page number was not used when adding new sheets. This issue has been resolved.
Symbol scaling revised
The symbol scaling value can now be selected between 1% and 20,000% (previously between 50% and 1,000%).
Improved Saving Function
The issue with saving RED CAD APP documents has been resolved. In some cases, for example, a project file (.rcc) could not be saved in the correct format and was instead created as a plan file (.rcp).
Fixed Microsoft Excel Installation Check (for Excel Export)
The check for an installed Microsoft Excel version has been fixed and improved. In some cases, the Bill of Materials export to MS Excel could not be performed, even though the software was installed on the computer.
TeamViewer QuickSupport Updated and Integrated into French
TeamViewer QuickSupport has been updated and implemented in French.
