Improvement: The eBook storage path (Steiger) can now be set per version year
The program settings now allow you to set the storage path for the eBook (Steiger) per version year. This ensures that the correct eBook is always opened based on the project file.
Improvement: "Show channel length" now split across different elements
The program settings now allow you to define separately on which element (pipe, escape route, wall, etc.) the length information should be displayed. These options are global settings.
Improvement: Drag & Drop in Scenario Manager has been adjusted
Moving elements in the Scenario Manager via drag & drop has been improved. Additionally, autoscroll has been implemented.
Improvement: Write permissions for license files have been revised
Previously, the license file could not be correctly overwritten or read by all users on the PC system. This problem affected many users who did not have administrator rights on the PC system and had installed or licensed the RED CAD app with an administrator account.
The improved license write and read permissions resolve this issue.

The handles, rotators, etc., now adjust more effectively based on the zoom level.
Fixed: Corrected the distance to elements when selecting elements
The radius within which elements can be selected has been reduced, thus improving selection. This means that elements can be selected more accurately and without reacting prematurely.
Fixed: Corrected DNS resolution and IPv6 connection in network scenarios
The RED CAD license server could not distribute the license to computers when communication within the internal network used an IPv6 address instead of an IPv4 address. This issue has been resolved.
Additionally, DNS address resolution has been improved.
Fixed: Corrected license switching from network to single-user version
If an active network version was installed on the computer, it was not possible to switch to a single-user version. The license information had to be deleted manually. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Symbol Scaling via Properties Fixed
The size scaling of symbols has been fixed. There was a difference depending on whether the symbols were enlarged or reduced using percentage scaling or by adjusting width and height.

The RED CAD app has a completely new look. The menu structure has also been revised and streamlined.
New: Single-User License Holders Can Now Activate Their Licenses Themselves
Users can now activate their own licenses. This allows for easy computer replacement when a computer is replaced.
This eliminates the need to contact support for this issue. Activation is limited to a certain number of times per year.

Polygons can now be drawn via the Draw tab. A fixed angle snap can optionally be enabled in the Program Settings.
New: The drawing type (inside, center, outside) can now be selected for fire resistance (fire protection).

Fixed: Pop-up notifications were displayed in the background
User prompts or notifications that appeared as pop-ups sometimes disappeared into the background. This blocked the RED CAD app. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Outgoing path number can now be set to 0 for cross-references
Previously, it was not possible to set a value of 0 in the cross-reference settings dialog. This has been corrected and is now possible.
Fixed: Selection of rotated symbols and images has been corrected
If inserted images were rotated, they could no longer be selected afterward. This issue has been resolved.

If a plan was imported in grayscale, the import wizard did not reset this setting for subsequent plans, resulting in an incorrect display. This issue has been resolved.

When using the Room Calculation function (found in the “App” tab), the structure in the Scenario Manager was automatically set to “Area”. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Symbols can now be saved even if the user's toolbox is empty
Attempting to save a symbol to the user's toolbox when the toolbox contained no category caused an app crash. This issue has been resolved.
