New: New Options for "Recently Edited Documents"
The main menu now offers two new options for managing the "Recently Edited Documents" list.
The document's location can now be accessed via the list and displayed in Windows Explorer.
Furthermore, documents can be removed from the list if the file path has changed or the file is no longer available.
New: New digitalSTROM Symbols for Plans and Schematics
The digitalSTROM symbology has been completely revised for both plans and schematics/circuit diagrams.
New: LeanConnect-Supported Symbols Are Marked
Symbols that are fully referenced and supported by LeanConnect are now marked in the toolbox.
New: LeanConnect "Save Selection" when placing symbols
Now, symbols can be placed multiple times when drawing a LeanConnect plan by explicitly activating a checkbox. Previously, if a symbol needed to be placed multiple times, it had to be selected again each time.
Fixed: Fixed bug when copying LeanConnect symbols with Ctrl+Drag
LeanConnect symbols could not be copied using Ctrl+Drag (holding and dragging with the left mouse button). This bug has been fixed.
Fixed: Schematic cross-references corrected when "Insert previous page" was used
The cross-references were not updated correctly when a new page was inserted into the schematic/circuit diagram document using "Previous page". This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Schematic title block no longer exported to the bill of materials
The title block of a schematic document was incorrectly included and listed in the legend. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Symbol option "Bill of Materials" is now used correctly again
Each symbol has a default assignment indicating whether or not it is included in the bill of materials.
This assignment can be manually changed by the user via the properties.
Due to an error, this manual assignment was not being recognized correctly.
This issue has been resolved, and manual assignment is working again.
Improvement: Keyboard Focus Optimized
While entering a symbol name, layer label, etc. in the Scenario Manager, mouse movement could cause the focus on the text input to be lost.
This issue has now been resolved by ensuring that mouse movement no longer affects the focus of the text input or the edited text field within the Scenario Manager.
Improvement: Incorrect Docking Points in the Electrical Toolbox Corrected
Symbols with incorrectly positioned docking points have been corrected.
Fix: Schematic – Automatic Position Indication Can Be Overwritten Again
Schematic/circuit diagram documents with user-overwritten position information were being reset to the default values by the RED CAD APP upon opening, page changes, etc. This resulted in the loss of all user-defined information.
This issue has been resolved. Overwriting position information is now possible again.
Fix: Multi-Line Drawing – H & V Keys Caused Crash
In rare cases, a crash could occur when drawing multi-line drawings using the H or V keys. This issue has been fixed.
New: New Swisslux Toolbox
The icons of Swisslux have been updated with the latest products. Additionally, the supported detection ranges have been completely revised.
New: In addition to the existing BEG Luxomat – Presence and Motion Detector product toolbox, the TRIVALITE Luminaires – Intelligent Lighting product toolbox has been added. Both toolboxes can be found in the App tab.
New: Schematic – Duplicate Page
Pages in a schematic/circuit diagram document can now be duplicated using the Scenario Manager.
Fixed: Drawing outside the drawing area
Elements drawn outside the drawing area (e.g., a pipe) could not be displayed correctly even after subsequently enlarging the drawing area. This problem has been corrected and improved.
Fixed: Insertion Point Setting is No Longer Skipped with "Enter"
When saving some symbols, the "Set Insertion Point" step was skipped when using the Enter key. This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: Increased Export
The export function to DAT files was faulty and no longer correctly output the BKP structure. This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: Desired Schematic Layout is Now Used Again
When creating a schematic/circuit diagram document, the same layout was always created, regardless of the user's selection. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Dimension Line Text Decoration is No Longer Duplicated
Dimension line text decoration (appearance) was duplicated and written to the settings file when the RED CAD app started. In extremely rare cases, these duplications resulted in very long loading times when drawing a dimension line. This issue has been resolved.
New: Fire Protection Symbols Austria TRVB 121 Implemented
The official fire protection symbols TRVB 121 have been implemented in the RED CAD APP and can be obtained from TRVB.
Fixed: Piping (Underfloor Heating – Step 3) Now Possible with "Pointer Reset"
If the automatic pointer reset was enabled in the program settings, it was not possible to place pipes despite activating the correct drawing function. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Symbol Text Not Considered in Legend
For some symbols, the column was not calculated correctly if the symbol had a text field. This resulted in the symbol text and symbol name overlapping in the legend. The calculation has been corrected, and the legend is now generated correctly.
Fixed: Font settings are now displayed correctly
The font settings window in the properties was not fully displayed. As a result, the available settings were not fully shown. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Error messages on the license screen corrected
Despite correct feedback from the new license server, the activation window consistently displayed the wrong error message or the same error message. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Visible areas of DWG/DXF plans are no longer exported
The drawn visible areas were exported as white areas during DXF/DWG export. These areas are now ignored during export. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: "Fill screen" no longer causes crash
Under specific circumstances, RCA crashed when the "Fill screen" button was clicked. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: AF fall protection documentation displays correct quantity for columns
The quantity of add-on products displayed the total number of products instead of the quantity per type. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Steiger 2021 Toolbox could not be downloaded
When launching the Steiger "Electronic Book," the Toolbox for the RED CAD app could not be downloaded and generated an error message. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Steiger Export is working again
The Steiger export to .DAT generated an empty bill of materials, and only the header was written to the .DAT file. This issue has been resolved.
Improvement: Focus on name when adding a new plan/schema in the project view
When a new document is opened in the project management view, the focus is now automatically set to the name field. This allows you to directly enter the document name.
New: Text Decorations Added
Text decoration options such as underlining and strikethrough have been expanded and added. The new text decorations can be selected via the properties, program, and document settings for text.
New: New Bill of Materials Now Also Works for Steiger, LBHT, etc.
The new Bill of Materials export dialog has been added with specific manufacturer and association declarations. Bills of materials can now be generated according to Steiger, EIT.Swiss, Flury, and LBHT (AT).
New: Removal of Non-Existing Files from the "Recently Edited" List
Non-existing files can now be removed from the Recently Edited Documents list in the main menu by right-clicking. This was previously not possible, and therefore non-existing files were still listed.
Fixed: Crosshair Position Corrected
The crosshair position has been optimized to ensure more accurate positioning.
In previous versions, the crosshair position was inaccurate and did not align with the endpoint, for example, when drawing a line.
Fixed: Mirroring During Drawing Corrected
While drawing objects such as surfaces, rectangles, lines, pipes, etc., it was possible to mirror the objects using the and keys, which should not be possible. This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: File Extension Not Appended When Saving
RED CAD file extensions are now always appended to the document name when saving. In extremely rare cases, the file extension was not set correctly.
Fixed: Font color no longer changes text size
The text size no longer changes when the font color is adjusted. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Plans with visible print area now open correctly
Under certain circumstances, documents with a visible print area could no longer be opened. Loading the print area triggered an error. This issue has been resolved.
Fixd: Custom paper size no longer breaks the dialog box
A display issue could occur in the print dialog if a custom paper size was defined identically to a DIN paper size. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Error messages regarding missing attributes have been revised
Error messages have been revised and clarified if an attribute is missing when opening a project file.
Improvement: Cutouts can only be drawn within heating zones
The cutout areas that can be drawn in the underfloor heating wizard can now only be placed within the heating zone. Previously, it was possible to place the cutout areas outside the zone, which caused problems with the underfloor heating calculations.
Improvement: Fire-resistant walls can now be filled via the properties
Fire-resistant walls can now be filled via the properties. In previous versions, it was not possible to remove or change the fill.
Improvement: Corrected "H" / "V" mouse position to drawing position
The horizontal and vertical positioning has been corrected so that it now corresponds to the drawing position (pointer position). In earlier versions, the position was incorrect, for example when drawing lines in conjunction with the H or V keys, and therefore the drawing position was imprecise.

Auto-Correction for DWG/DXF Files When Elements Are Positioned Incorrectly
A new function, Auto-Correction for DWG/DXF Files, has been implemented. DWG/DXF files often contain arbitrarily placed elements that significantly enlarge the drawing areas, resulting in large empty spaces. This makes importing and planning more difficult. Improvement: Sorting of plans/schematics in project overview by name/date
Previously, it was not possible to sort documents in the project management section of project files.
