Feature: Customizable Symbol History
The symbol history (symbol history) can now be customized. It is now possible to limit the maximum number of recently used symbols for plans and diagrams. The symbol history setting can be found in the program settings under the Plan and Diagram/Circuit Diagram tabs.
Feature: Theben - Customizable Rectangular Detection Areas
Theben presence and motion detectors with rectangular detection areas can now be limited via their properties.
Fixed: Exporting Diagram Files Destroys Position Information
When exporting diagram/circuit diagram files from a project file, the position information was subsequently unusable or no longer adjusted automatically.
This problem has been fixed.
Feature: ESYLUX
The automation and lighting products (indoor and outdoor) from ESYLUX are now available in the RED CAD APP and can be used for planning. The new toolbox can be found under the APP tab.
This implementation is only available in Switzerland.
Feature: Placeholder Text for Page Number
The Placeholder Text functionality has been extended to include page numbers.
It is now possible to display the page number in schematics/circuit diagrams using the placeholder %pagenumber%. When exporting to PDF, this placeholder is replaced with the corresponding page number.
Improvement: Schema header of all "it-CH" page templates adjusted
The page templates for the schema documents in the it-CH programming language have been adjusted. Additionally, the issue of page numbers not being displayed has been resolved.
Improvement: Steiger EB 2023
The link to the Steiger Book 2023 Online was not listed in the program settings.
This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Steiger EB 2022 Save Path is Set Correctly
The save path for Steiger EB 2022 could not be defined.
As a result, the user was repeatedly prompted to save the save path when using EB 2022.
This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Schematic Export to DWG/DXF Adjusted
Schematic/circuit diagram documents were not being exported correctly to DWG/DXF. The following issues have been resolved:
Fixed: Scaling Property – Field Does Not Update Graphic
In the Scaling Properties window, entering the scaling value did not work, or the graphic did not update correctly after entering the scaling value.
This issue has been resolved.
Feature: Wiser by Feller
The products Wiser by Feller are now fully integrated into the RED CAD APP.
All symbols can now be visualized using color coding to indicate whether they represent a main station, branch station, or scene.
The toolbox can be found under the APP tab. The old Feller toolboxes have been removed, as these products are no longer available.
Improvement: Cables are ignored in the schematic parts list
The drawn cable lengths are no longer listed in the parts list. This is because these lengths are not accurate.
Correction: Crash when creating documents on low-performance systems
On very low-performance systems, a memory (RAM) issue could occur when opening and creating documents. This caused the RED CAD app to crash regularly. Code optimizations and logic changes have fixed this problem.
Fixed: Exported documents retain old filename
Documents exported from a project file and subsequently renamed did not retain the new filename. Upon opening, the original project filename was still displayed.
This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: Copying & pasting layers
When created layers were copied and pasted into another file, the symbol labels were lost.
This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: Saving restored project plans
Project plans restored from the Temp directory caused the RED CAD app to crash upon saving.
This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: DXF/DWG Export – Dimension Line Text
Drawn dimension lines exported to DXF/DWG files did not retain their new values when lengths were adjusted in other CAD software.
The export process has been optimized, resolving this issue.
Fixed: Project – Duplicating Plans with Layer-in-Layer Structure
Duplicates within a project file triggered an error if the document being duplicated had a layer-in-layer structure.
This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Title Block in Delete Layer
If title blocks were placed in the delete layer area, the file could not be reopened after closing.
This issue has been resolved.

Deaktivierter DWG-Fang wurde automatisch reaktiviert, sobald ein DWG-Layer über den Szenario Manager aus- oder eingeblendet wurde.

Improvement: Deletion of Temporary Files
Schematic/circuit diagram documents generate temporary files when exported to PDF. These are now automatically deleted by the RED CAD app. This saves storage space and prevents unnecessary data usage.
Fixed: DWG/DXF Export Corrected – Incorrect Positioning
The positioning of symbols relative to their associated wires was corrupted during export and did not match the generated drawing.
This issue has been resolved.
Feature: Customer Announcements
A new customer announcement window can now appear when the RED CAD APP starts, informing users with the latest information from RED CAD Solutions AG.
This feature provides RED CAD Solutions AG with a new information channel to keep customers/users informed about news, urgent issues, etc. In the past, it was found that email notifications did not reach all users.
Feature: Quantity Indication in Legend
The symbol legend now has the option to display the quantity or number of symbols used.
Quantity indication can be activated via the Properties window when the legend is selected.
Feature: Closing Documents with Mouse Wheel
Documents can now be closed by clicking on the document name with the mouse wheel.
Feature: Open last edited document on startup
A new setting can be enabled to load the last opened document directly on startup.
This setting is not enabled by default and can be activated via Program settings → General → Under Miscellaneous → Open last edited file on startup.
Improvement: New Loxone Components Added
The Loxone Toolbox has been updated.
Improvement: Decimal Input Fields Adjusted
When selecting multiple objects with different line thicknesses, the line thickness was displayed with a difference of 0.1. This difference was caused by incorrect rounding of decimal numbers.
Improvement: New Symbols for Motor Protection Switches (Schematic) Added
The motor protection switches in the Electrical Schematic toolbox have been updated and supplemented with new variants.
Improvement: Internal Print Function Updated
The engine responsible for exporting PDF files has been updated. This update has improved aspects such as the appearance of hatches, errors in object display, etc.
Fixed: Size of Copied Symbols
When copying and pasting grouped symbols, the selection box appeared larger as soon as the grouped symbols were pasted. This problem has been fixed.
Fixed: "Send to Back/Foreground" Function Hides Architectural Scenario
When the "Send to Back/Foreground" function was used on an object in the default scenario, the architectural scenario disappeared. This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: DWG Export - Arc Segments Are Exported Correctly
When a group containing arc segments and other objects was exported as a DWG file, the arc segments were displayed incorrectly. The export behavior for groups containing arc segments has been corrected.
Fixed: Symbol Scaling
When resizing symbols in the Properties window, their appearance could be distorted.
This issue has been fixed.
Fixed: Text Box Background Color Not Saved
The background color of text boxes is not saved when saving them as custom symbols.
