The Properties window now includes the option Code letter for automatic position text fields. This allows you to customize the code letter for circuit diagram or schematic symbols. To access this option, double-click on the automatic position text field.

The new Steiger calculation data for 2026 has been implemented. (Only available in Switzerland - https://www.asteigerag.ch/default.aspx)
Correction: Free area calculation function – crash when V key is pressed
When calculating free areas, a crash could occur if the area was drawn with the V key pressed. This problem has been fixed.
Improvement: Layer deletion in the Plan Scenario Manager now standardized.
Previously, deleting layers via right-click or the Delete key was handled differently. Right-clicking required confirmation, while the Delete key did not. The deletion process has been standardized – both methods now function identically.
Improvement: "Set Print Area" function is now deactivated when leaving the Output tab Previously, when leaving the Output tab, the "Set Print Area" function remained active, allowing the print area to still be moved. Now, the function is automatically deactivated when switching tabs, improving usability.
Improvement: Fire Protection Austria – Improved Visibility for TRVB Symbols
The handling of the toolbox for TRVB fire protection symbols has been improved, and additional information has been added.
The Fire Protection Austria toolbox is displayed in the tab by default. If a license for the TRVB121 symbols has been purchased, it can be opened and used. Otherwise, a tooltip with the necessary information appears. This ensures better visibility and transparency.
Fixed: Logic of the "Plan" and "Schema" tabs revised
Selecting functions in the Plan or Schema tabs without a document open previously caused the program to crash. This issue has been resolved.
Feature: Gira GPLA Module.
The new Gira GPLA module has been integrated into the RED CAD APP and is now included in the electrical license. This module allows projects from the Gira Planning Assistant to be imported and visualized on the floor plan – based on the component list provided by GPLA. Currently only available in Germany.
Fix: Crash prevented when using an invalid image format
In rare cases, loading certain image formats resulted in a memory overload, leading to a program crash. This issue has been resolved.
Fix: Crash prevented when selecting connection lines
Selecting connection lines caused a crash if the associated heating circuit had previously been manually deleted via the Scenario Manager. This bug has been fixed.
Fix: Underfloor heating – DWG/DXF export: Last element exported correctly
Underfloor heating systems were sometimes displayed incorrectly in DWG/DXF files. The export function has been revised so that the display is now correct and identical to the RED CAD app.
Correction: Flury Symbols – Translations corrected.
Errors in the symbol translation in the Arthur Flury toolbar have been corrected.
