Here you'll learn how to install the RED CAD APP on your computer and activate it with your license.
You don't need advanced PC skills to complete the installation successfully.
The prerequisites for successful installation and activation of the RED CAD APP are that your computer meets the system requirements and that you have the appropriate rights on your computer to install software.
You will also need an existing internet connection and your licence details.
Antivirus programs
Avast, Panda, Norton 360, Trend Micro, etc., can in some cases affect operation or even block the application due to false positive detection.
In the event of a false positive detection, some antivirus programs remove the affected program, rendering it unusable.
If you use an antivirus program, we recommend defining the appropriate exceptions for the RED CAD APP.
Download the RED CAD APP from the website (https://www.redcad.ch/de/downloads/) or via the following link (https://download.redcad.ch/latest_de.html).
Unzip the downloaded ZIP file.
Run the unzipped installation file RedCadAppSetup_vXXX.exe.
Follow the instructions and complete the installation. → If everything was installed correctly, the message Completing the RED CAD APP Setup Wizard will appear.
Click Finish to complete the installation process.
Launch the RED CAD APP and proceed with the activation process.
After a new installation or if there is a problem with the license, an activation window opens automatically.
In the activation window, select the Single / Flex License tab.
Enter your license information according to the delivery note in the Company and License lines.
→ Please note that entering the license information is case-sensitive and that no unnecessary spaces are included before or after the company and license number.
Click the Activate button.
→ If the activation is successful, the message "License successfully received" will appear at the bottom of the activation window.
Click the OK button to confirm the activation.
